yes any where where there is a oil under presure can be used. the oil presure sensor is the easiest.

I would like to place an oil sensor near my oil filter, using a sandwich plate. Now for the 28L , what size thread should a sandwich plate have to fit the oil filter? 20x1.5mm or something?

I would think, you dont need a sandwitch plate. unless you gona run auxilirary oil cooling.
the sensor has to be where it is from factory. so DO NOT move it from it location.
What do you do is conect a T there, and you move the sensor slightly out and you run a line from there to the turbo.
Make it as streight and short as posible. for extra efect.
if you start having oil starvation up the grade.
like if you run 10W-30 use 10w-40, remember it is not good for turbo to go too thick.
best would be the lower first and high second. so mobil1 line of 0W base is the easiest to go. I use 0w-40 my self in my. even though its not recomended, I found out a loop hole and actually can prove thats its fine.
0w-40 is like 5w-40 but better cold and 0C

on my friends twin turbo mustang we simply ran a line were the pressure sensor (with brake lines from the local napa) and split it to feed the pressure sensor and the turbos. he ran 2 turbos so it had to be split twice. damn it hard to explain without showing u pictures.

brake line is too small for oiling the turbo, not to mention twin.
tall your friend to calculate how much actually oil is passing through each turbo, should be like 1 or 1.5 gallons per minute.
he needs to disconect the drain line, run the car for like 10 or 15 seconds, and measure how much oil is being pumped out the drain line. divide 60 by the time car run, and multiply by the quantaty of how much oil got out.

OIL for turbos is like death or life for us.

thats not true at all. u know theres more than one size brake lines. the lines we uses are 1/4 (inside dia) lines that are used on large trucks. both turbos are off a grand national that stock had smaller lines. alot of kits you see out there are an 4 lines which are only about 1/8 inch lines.

true, but when you go to auto store 90% that the brake line is like on regular cars, 1/8 or even smaller
