Can you hear your turbo stock

RE: Can you hear your turbo stock
thats what im saying. The 150hp models dont move any air and the turbo is barely working. Your not going to hear it unless you are in a silent place, windows down, and have tons of load. Think the poeple voting clear as day are not 100% stock. Holes in the airbox and chips change the sound greatly

I can hear the turbo spool in first and second, sometime 3rd and Ive only heard the DV once when driving with my window down on a narrow street after I got off it in first. Then again, Ive only had the car for a week lol.

Mine is box stock at the moment, inside the cabin with the windows upI can't hear any turbine or compressor noise under normal driving. If I jump on it, there is a faint whine inside, but the Bose is more than capable of covering it up. Outside the car, you can hear it spool and boost, but I prefer the inside.

idk, when my car was stock i was able to here it spool through the whole gear in 1st 2nd and 3rd, and everytime i was on the gas hard and shifted gears i could hear the dv easily...then again when i first got the car i would drive with the windows down and almost no radio(i love the sound of engines) i was also listening for it most of the time, and you could hear it best on roads that echo cause of trees, buildings, trucks ect. basically what im saying is its very easy to miss if you dont listen for it, and also, i cant hear **** but my exhaust now
**and also everyone thats saying they hear it before 3-4k rpms, im pretty sure your just hearing turbo lag cause i used to get that really bad when i was able to hear it.
