I just bought a Audi s4 b5 and I noticed that my boost gauge read 11 psi the very first few days I had it. And just a couple days ago it went to roughly 6psi. I was thinking it might be the weather but it seemed to much of a change in psi for it to be the weather. The car seems to alternate between 6 up to 11 psi of boost. I’m newbie when it comes to the technicality of cars. I looked at some forums and stuff and they said it could be a torn throttle body boot, but I checked it out and everything seemed to be intact. I also read that it could be the N75 valve or even the diverter valves or i could even run a leak test to see if there is a leak somewhere in the system. For now I wanted to come on here to see what you guys think and maybe guide me a little. Thanks!

 

Just did a couple of test runs and boost is peaking almost around 19 psi. I went around tightening the piping because some of it was a tab bit loose and I don’t think it was that. So I’m not sure why I’m my boost is fluctuating so much.
