Default Who has two thumbs and a new Audi?

This guy!

Hey all, I'm new to the forum and to the Audi family. I just bought a 2006 A3, premium, open sky, xenon, bose, cold weather.

A little about how I got here... It replaced my 2005 SAAB 9-2X, which I owned for a solid four weeks! It sucked! Obviously performance rocked but being truely a Subaru, it didn't have that SAAB luxury. Since SAAB was giving them away I scooped one up, drove it for 3 weeks, didn't like it and got the Audi dealer to give me more for it on trade than I actually paid! (I paid $22,018... Audi gave me $23k) Nice how that worked out.

Right off the bat I'm kind of dissappointed with all the discrepancies between the manual and actual car but overall I love this car. Hopefully I'll work my way up the Audi line of vehicles in the years to come.

Ciao!

Congrats and welcome to the forum.

The A3 is awesome and if they ever bring the 3.2/Quattro/DSG version out over here I will be getting one myself.
Enjoy!

Wow! You're one of the first with an A3. I've only seen ONE on the road so far. ( actually parked in a parking lot ) Saw them at the L.A. auto show last January. Also just heard they're be a V-6 turbo model with 250hp in a few months. Maybe you can do the same thing then you did with your Saabaru.
