Took the plunge from domestic to euro
Traded my 2006 Chevy cobalt in on a 2004 S4 (auto) on 10/11/11.
Id had the cobalt since it was new in 2006, base model with a fully swapped interior, stereo system, suspension, and built N/A. I had full bolt ons with cams, and it road like a go cart on crack lol. Loved the car and made some awesome progress with the car (all motor on 4 cyl it made 185whp 174wtq and did 14.5 in the 1/4 on street tires). But after years of replaceing EVERYTHING (including the motor and trans) I got tired of it...Needed something from the factory with more power, all the options and better fit and finish....So I found a 2004 S4 (auto) and picked her up. It has 90k miles on the clock and I paid $17k for it. Ive had it for a few weeks now and I couldnt be happier!!! Ive read the manual about cover to cover to get familiar with the car and plan on doing some maint soon. Her name is Serenity and she is AMAZING to drive. I picked her up sitting on some TR motorsports 18x8.5" 10 spoke rims wrapped in 245/40/18 yokohamas and had to roll the fenders as they were so wide they rubbed :P
Things I need to do:
brake flush
coolant flush
spark plugs
air filter
cabin filters
trans flush
replace CV boot on front passenger side
anywho, glad to be apart of the family. Going to read up about the car and get to know how this all works Would love to meet up with some locals too if anyone is around. Here are a few pics of her:

Thanks!
So far it is an amazing upgrade!
here is my youtube channel from the cobalt. (trh9490's Channel - YouTube was a bit of a beast for a 4 cyl. I kind of miss her (was my baby for 6 yrs) and miss getting some of the looks at lights and when racing (had a 252/262 set of comp cams in her that made it sound like something between a v8 and a v twin lol). But on to better things
I LOVE the S4! it sounds, handles, looks, and feels sooooo amazing! and having 4 doors back is a blessing hahaha.
