Default Thinking About Buying 2007 S4

Hello Everyone,

I'm a new member, and I'm thinking about purchasing brand new Audi S4 sedan in the nearest future. I in the pass I owned BMW E46 323ic, BMW X5, BMW E46 M3, and now I own 2005 BMW 545i, but I never had opportunity to own an Audi. Couple days ago I saw somebody driving a white S4, and ever since I’m in love with Audi S4. If you guys can help me with few questions that would be great.

1) Are there any reliability issues with Audi S4??
2) How often Audi changes there body style??
3) How is the handling compare to BMW??
4) If you order one, how long you have to wait??

Thank You

1) Are there any reliability issues with Audi S4?? i don't think there is any specific trend of issues, but, as with any high performance car, there will be things that happen, but wouldn't that be under warranty?

2) How often Audi changes there body style?? anytime the wind changes direction. like any good marketer, they know that once you drive their cars, you'll always want the newest and fastest. why would that matter to you if you like the body style of what you are considering?

3) How is the handling compare to BMW?? quattro, my friend, quattro. obviously you'll want to test drive both before making a decision. (however, there really is no decision here)

4) If you order one, how long you have to wait?? don't know about that one, but my answer would be: however long it takes.

I love my car and it loves me!

I don't know about you, but question number 1 is very important to me. I don't care if the car has lifetime warranty, I don't enjoy sitting in the dealer every week waiting for my car to be fix, or being stock on side of the route somewhere. So you saying that Audi redesigns their cars every year??

I work for a Audi dealership and the 4.2 has to be one of the most relible motors yet as they really do not come in for much a few coilpacks here and there and we just did a clutch on one but by the looks of it when it came out looks as if the customer was abusing it quite a bit
