What's your plans or goals? FAQ section is great but members are here to help.

If you want to mod fairly cheaply go turbo.

Willkommen to the forums.

be sure to spend some time in the A4 B5 section. read the stickies. lots of good information in there that will help you know "what to look for" when you are looking for.

good luck

plan on getting Vmaxx coilovers, thinking about getting Privat Akzent 18x9.5 wheels with like 15mm spacers.
then a k04 turbo upgrade and enjoying it from there until i decide what else.
haha

what yr are you looking at getting?

vmaxx are the cheap c/o's i'd do some race springs or better coils then those

not bad looking wheels but i'd do 18x8, and make sure you get 5x112

also if you want to upgrade get a franken turbo not a k04, or get an elim

the mild gains you'll get from the k04 won't make you happy coming from 240 cars(light/semi-powerful)

audi's are heavy as ****, a tune wakes them up... a proper turbo makes them fun.....k04 will probably not get you the fun you want

k04 = 215-225whp
frankenturbo = 250ish whp
elim turbos 250-315 whp(depending on tune/mods)

idc what year as long as its a b5. i heard a fwd a4 with ko4 with a nice tune will get me roughly 250ish give or take? and yah my buddy has some vaxx coils on his s4 and they ride smooth. and im into fitment n whatnot 18x9.5 more of my taste.
never heard of the elim turbos or the franken turbo.
i don't want to have to upgrade pistons or rods or anything along those lines. i would like to keep the motor stock.

your in atlanta so you get some bad weather? or you want to have a car that can launch hard/straight? or do you want a car that can do burnouts?

if you get bad weather want to launch hard/straight.... quattro.... if you want to do burnouts, frontrash

frankenturbos are "upgraded" k04's and you can stay stock internals

elims are t25 versions of the really big turbos and you can stay stock internals

it isn't until you get to about 400 ft lbs that you worry and if you get an aeb car(forged internals) you can go bigger than the elim and not worry about breaking ****

if you want the most stock hp, then 01/01.5, if you want the updated look w/ power potential get a 99.5
