Subaru junkie turned S4 owner
I'm getting my first Audi delivered next week, a 2001 S4 from Auto Assets in Powell, OH. If anyone has ever dealt with them, what was your experience? I'm pleased thus far.
Since turning Subaru in 2004 I have decided to stay AWD, hopefully this Quattro works out like everyone says it will.I currently own a 2005 Forester XT and my wife has a 2000 Legacy GT wagon.
Just a few noob questions for now. What is this B5 and B6 stuff I keep reading? I see people say something like B5 S4 or B6 S4 But have no idea what that means. How canI figure out what I have.
Also, theparticular vehicle I'm picking up has 144,000 miles but hasextensive recordsfrom the previous owner. Timing belt, MAF and several other sensitive parts have all been done recently. What are the major upkeep parts that these cars require? I understand the engines are"bulletproof", but what DOES go out? I made sure to have them throw in a 1 year warranty, should I go farther out than that?
Thanks in advance, hope to have a pleasant experience on this forum and with Audi's in general.
