RS4 UK Change over
I'm in the process of shipping my Audi RS4 to England and I was told that the car needs to be converted to UK spec in order for me to register and drive it. Does anyone know what needs to be changed and roughly how much would it cost?

I would contact the shipper & ask them. If they are familiar with shipping cars overseas they should be able to recommend someone or know what is involved.
Coming the other way DOT & EPA get involved.

Ok being originally from the UK, and having looked into this but in the opposite direction, I can give a little insight. You are going to have to get the headlights changed as they shine in the wrong direction (adjusting is not enough) You will also have to have the car MOT'd. This is like state inspections only more stringent. All ball joints wheel bearings, brakes, lights, bodywork, seatbelts, door handles, emissions are tested. Emissions are a sniffer test not just a plugin to see if the systems are showing ok. Holes in bodywork will fail it. Rust will be tapped on with a small hammer or screw driver and if it goes through it will fail. Headlights out of alignment will fail. Depending on the shop, if your hand brake pulls more than three clicks to engage then it will fail. Some places will fail your brakes for mearly having some corrosion showing on the brake lines. It depends on how " to the letter of the law" they are and of they have had any trouble from the ministry of transport. It is all computerised to do the police can check when running plates, instead of just looking at the sticker.
