ok ive been lurking on here for a few months now, and i have gathered a few questions i would like to know the answer for for easier comprehension.
1) What does pre facelift, facelift mean?
2)What does the Acronym BT mean?
3)The whole "lowering your car thing" - can you just run shocks with stock springs? can you run stock springs with aftermarket shocks? Whats a strut do? and do i need to do that to lower my car?
4)If i chip my car, do i have to go to a dealer or mechanic for them to put it in? or can i just wire it myself?

2) BT can also mean Blue Tooth, depending on the context.

4) Get a chip from GIAC or APR. Installation is easy: simply remove your ECU, plug in the chip, re-install the ECU, and you are done. By then though you may want to upgrade your brakes if you have an A4 to compensate for the added power.
