So Im looking into an used A4 Ultra Sport package. My first thought was to go for the 1.8T, but have been seeing some of the 3.0's around as well. Are there any main advantages or disadvantages to either? Does one perform better?

Depending on where you are wanting to go with the car as far as mods go they both have their advantages. If you plan on doing any mods the 1.8T wil quickly out perform the 3.0

I honestly am not sure I would do any mods to the car. They seem to come pretty well equipt, and im not a huge fan of tuners. Maybe I would add some wheels and an intake/exhaust kit. Nothing fancy. I want a daily driver that looks fast and drives well. Also I need a vehicle thats good in the snow. I have a 99 A6 wagon right now, love how it handles the snowy conditions up here in VT.
