Push foot to Floor and there is a pause before accelerating
Hi there,
I am new to this forum - I hope this is the right place for this thread?!?!?
I have an '02 A4 Avant 2.5 tdi quattro.
If I put my foot to the floor when pulling out of a junction for example, there is a definite pause before the engine responds.
It only occurs when I try to 'Floor it'. If I drive normally the problem does not exist.
I have searched all over the web for anything that can point me in the right direction, however I have found nothing. I have spoken to the local Audi dealer who say they have not heard of it before.
I was hoping somebody could point me in the right direction. I am going to change the gearbox oil to see if that has anything to do with it.
Any help is much appreciated.
