Hello my name is jamarkus and I have a 2001 audi a4 Quattro. My transmission just took a poop on me and it is indeed the tiptronic trans. I'm doing a 5 speed swap on it here in about a week or two! Really needing someone too answer a question for me that would help me out a lot. My engine is a 2.8 v6 auto. I am getting a 5 speed transmission for a yard for 550 out the door with the links and all. It is also out of an 2001 audi a4 2.8 Quattro. Question is will it work out or what? Please help!

 

It's been done before several times. I do not know the specific in and outs of the process, but if you manipulate the search features, you should be able to find some useful tips.
