OH YEAH! My first Audi! One question though.
My poor old car was 14 years old, and it was time to upgrade, so I'm leasing a 2006 A4 2.0T Quartz Grey with the Ebony interior. I read in the manual that there's a breaking in period for the car and not to take it up to full throttle - which is all well and good because as far as I'm concerned it's waste of gas anyhow. My friend at the dealership did do something that made me uncomfortable while he drove my car on the freeway though. He put it in sportmode and revved up the RPM pretty high, but it didn't reach the red part. My question - is that bad for the car? (And can you tell I'm a girl? )

Hey welcome to the forums. Like the manual said, just take it easy for a while. I'm sure your friend didn't do any harm to the car, but don't let him do it again.

Take it easy for the 1st few hundred miles - then you can have fun - "sport" mode will run the RPM's pretty high, but the car is designed to take it! Also, even in the Tip mode the car won't let you run the RPM too high...
