I just bought a 2001 Audi A4 Quattro 5 spd with several mods that I do not know too much about. I grabbed this car off eBay. HERE Car has some modifications done to it such as full cat back exhaust, clutch, brakes, rotors, chip, and intake.
I really do not know too much about these mods. I got the car because it was so cheap. When I was driving the car the first day, I heard air being released when I let off the gas, and I assume this is air exiting the blow off valve? Today, as I drive it more, the air seems to be getting released during times when I am stepping on the gas. This does not seem normal and I feel as if the car has decreased power during these air releases. I feel like I should only be hearing a release of air when I lay off the throttle. What can this problem be? Is this valve leaking or does is need to be adjusted in some way?
