Default Newbie needs help: Audi TT 2002

The car had been sitting for a few months, and was dead when we tried to start it. Took the battery in, and it had zero charge. Would not hold a charge, so we replaced it. Car drove fine for about a day.

Last night I went to put in the code to reset the radio, and all hell has broken loose. Code worked fine...radio came back and is still working fine. Car started twice, but stalled immediately. Started fine the third time..no stall. Now the immobilizer seems to have killed the car entirely (but the radio is still working).

Any advice? Thanks in advance.

It is possible you pissed the immo off by jump starting the car. If i am not mistaken the immo is part of the instrument cluster.
Would not be the first time i have seen this.
I think it's time for a tow truck ride to the stealer or a independent shop that has a 5052!

Vag Com won't help on this issue.

Not good news. The strange thing is that the car worked fine with the new battery for a day. It got mad when I entered the radio code (which worked).

Ilana , Try one thing before you go off to the dealer.
Remove the negative battery cable from the battery & connect it to the positive for about a half hour. I know it sounds crazy but some times computers get stuck on stupid & this will clear it up.
Not saying this will definitely work but it is worth a try!
