New to the threads, looking to maybe buy an Audi
Hey guys how's it going?
Just joined these forums in hopes of learning a bit more about Audis, model numbers, how they work, etc. I spent a lot of time on bimmerforums learning about BMWs as I thought I wanted to purchase one for my next car, but I am currently leaning towards Audis.
A little about myself:
I am 18 years old and currently a senior in high school, planning on going off to community college to transfer to a University of California or a private school.
I currently drive a 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer ES (manual transmission), and, ever since I got into manual transmission, I have loved driving. I have become somewhat of the resident chauffeur for my friends and it feels like I spend most of the day on the road. I have owned my lancer for a year, and I feel like it is time to move onto my next car in college (I know it is, for some reason, a major problem for some people that I am so young considering this, at least on the BMW forums. I am not looking to argue with anybody, just post here to get some insight on Audis, how they work, costs, experiences, etc. I appreciate your respect towards me and I will treat you with respect as well).
The only reason I am even bringing a car to college is because I am unfortunately not going to a UC right out of high school like I planned, so I will most likely be in an apartment commuting to the community college for classes.
I previously planned on selling my car and purchasing a BMW e36 M3, but I have been attracted to Audis lately, specifically the S4, or something of the sort.
Well thank you if you have decided to read this far. I am sure I will be discussing something with many of you on here in the future.
