Default New from PA: Evo/S4/A4 owner

Hey what's up everyone, my name is Ryan, I'm from central PA. Just wanted to introduce myself and my rides. I currently own a heavily modded 03 Evo VIII, my DD 01 Audi S4, and my wife's DD 08 Audi A4 s-line. I'm still kinda new to the Euro scene, but been around imports for a long time. I'm also a member of the S4forum so I apologize in advance if you've read this before, if not, enjoy and lemme know what ya'll think.

03 Mitsubishi Evo VIII GSR:

When the Evo emerged for US sale in 03, I instantly fell in love and like most Evo owners, had to have one. My Evo VIII GSR was always just a dream for me to own, did a tour in Iraq and another in Afghanistan just to finally get one and be able to purchase the mods. It was origionally sold by a dealer in Seattle, WA. I purchsed it through a dealer in Great Falls, MT, where I was currently stationed with the military and eventually trailerd it from Montana to Pennsylvania. I really hate to admit it, but it basically sits covered in my garage and is only driven on nice, sunny days. I know all the Subie/Evo guys are shaking your head at me for that..but hey, it is what it is. Bought it at the end of '04 with 4k and currently it only has 35k total miles, so ya can see how little it's actaully driven, but I still managed to make it a certified 100mph club car from Beaver Springs Dragway.

Alright, enough with the history lesson, lets get to the part that everyone always wants to know, the mods...the car is in a huge transition right now and is constantly 'evolving.' I've tried to keep the mods tasteful, yet practical, so here is a current list along with some pics. I'll keep updating as I get more done or you can check my profile as the car is in the shop more then in my garage.

Here are the numbers thus far:

Car put down 417whp/391tq @ 31psi on CBRD's Mustang II load-bearing dyno on 93 octane pump-gas. Should put down approx. 515+ whp on a dyno-jet. I respect Chad and what he does at his shop, he's a genius when it comes to the Evo/STi platform. He said it was the highest hp stock-block VIII with his BBK turbo kit/supporting mods ever on his dyno! Hope to break the 500hp mark on the low-reading Mustang Dyno by mid-summer...unless the wife kills me first LOL.

Engine Modifications:
CBRD BBK fully-ported Blouch turbo

The Euros:

The daily-driver: Nogaro blue 01 Audi S4 2.7bi-turbo with some tasteful mods.

Purchased my S4 to be my daily driver. I only use my Evo spairingly and never in snow so I needed another AWD vehicle because PA has such awesome winters. This is my first experience owning a Euro and I must say, it's quite nice. I mean, it will never replace my DSM, but it is a close second. I absolutely love this car, can't believe the mix of power and luxury.

Engine/Drivetrain Modifications:
APR Stage III ECU chip (tuned to 93 octane)
APR R1 Diverter Valves
APR 2.7 BiPipe kit
APR Intake
AWE Exhaust
AWE Test Pipe

Suspension Modifications:
H&R Lowering Springs
Front/Rear Strut Tower brace

Wheels/Tires Modifications:
RS6 wheels on P-Zero's

Interior/Exterior Modifications:
LED Tailights
Clear Corners
Euro front plate
New S4 badges
Tutone leather - white/black
PA Expeditionary Forces Veteran license plate

Future Modifications:
RS4 turbo upgrade, APR intercooler and piping, wheels, etc. My daily driver, we'll see how crazy we can get it.

And finally, the newest edition - 08 Audi A4 2.0T S-line

Only mod is the APR staged chip...tuned to 93 octane
Had an extremely hard time finding this color combo with a 6spd, drove 250 miles to pick it up.

I know you all must be thinkin' WTF, he either came from money or just plain rich, but I'm neither....I've worked my *** off to afford my rides and spent tons of time depolyed to shitty-*** countries away from my family. The way I look at it, some people spend money on clothes, shoes, houses, etc; I just chose to spend it on cars...LOL...

Cars look great bro. Neither of you guys are all that far from Binghamton where we have several guys who are extremely active in this scene. We had a great turnout for a meet in April and are planning on another hopefully in late summer. You should both make the trip up then or before. This summer among our local core we have a lot of DIY maintenance we'll be doing as well so if you wanna come up and hang with like-minded people, have some beers and BBQ and maybe turn a few wrenches with us (our cars or yours), just let me know!

yeh man definatly let me know, as long as I'm off for the weekend or whatever, I'd make the journey. We have a lot of things going on down here as well that I can let ya'll know about closer to the time. I'm a big gear-head, do mostly all my own work, so I'm def. down to turn a few wrenches, bust a few knuckles for sure.

Plus I've been wanting to broaden my horizons in the import scene, and NY seems like it'd be awesome.
