Default new noobie hello

Noob here. I currently own a Volvo S60R and looking to switch to Audi. Currently I'm looking at a 99 Avant and went straight to the A4 forum but should have posted here first.

Greetings all,

This is my first post and very well may become a regular. I am currently looking at purchasing a 99 avant 2.8L V6 AWD. I saw the link about trying to turbo charge the 2000 and see that unfortunately no kits exists. I have a few questions that hopefully will guide me to sealing the deal.

Are there many modifications that can be done to increase HP and what is the max HP you guys have seen out of the 99V6?
Can you name a few performance companies that sell performance parts like Heads, intakes, fuel rails etc.

Thanks for the replies in advance. I have a VW golf and am into VW/Audi product and the vast modding possibilities.

Again thanks Mike

Hey welcome to the forums. The only really good mod for the v6 is the supercharger. Check out PES Tuning's website for more details.

as for performance upgrades, the 2.8l v6 is a dud. go for the 1.8t if you want a plethora of available mods.

try this for some good parts resources
