hey everyone im Nick. i just bought a 1998 audi a4 quattro with the 2.8 30v for 3400 bucks with 140k miles on it and its silver with tan leather interior.

i love the car, people told me not to get it due to high mileage on a german vehicle as well as electrical issues but i really liked it so whatever.

however when i bought it it didnt come with a manual so i know what none of the buttons are as well as the little tab on the right on the wiper stick, idk what the two fog light things are i know that one of them is a rear drivers tail fog but again this is my first euro.

can someone walk me through audis as well as hints tips tricks, parts stores and stuff?

Anyway, 1998 is the pre-facelift so I don't think you have the front foglights (unless it has been modded).

i found out that the fog lights are actually built into the headlight assembly itself. yeah i gutta figure out my check engine light i rand it dry out of gas the other day and now i got all kinds of weird codes i cleared and came back.
