New member looking to go from 330Ci to S4
Hello fellas! I am new to the Audi world but I have always loved the styling of audis. I am now looking at selling my 2002 BMW 330Ci Dinan S for a B5 S4. I've been wandering around here for a couple weeks trying to learn as much as I can before I start my search. I would like to find an 01.5 or 02 S4 6spd with less than 50k miles. Anyway, I just though I would stop in and say hi.

Thanks for the welcome!
I have a question about the B5 S4, does it have the same interior peeling problem that the A4/6 have? I remember that being a problem when I was looking at getting and 04-05 A4 before I bought my BMW.

what do you mean interior peeling problem? i've never heard of any problems with the b5 interior, it holds up very well. my leatherette seats look practically brand new, so much better than real leather

Before I purchased my BMW I looked at 8-10 2003-04 Audi A4s and in at least 5 of them the clear rubber coating on A/C, seat heater, head light, and window controls where peeling off. All the cars had around 30k miles on them.
I am not the only one that has experienced this...

I am just wondering if the B5 has this siimilar rubberized coating.
Thanks

My '03 has this problem. It'sparticularly bad at night when the lights are on. Whatever there is a peel, the red light shines through. It almost makes me want toget a "sharpie marker" and fill in the "holes". It's not an issue for my '01
