I am new and am thinking of buying this 2003 A6 I got my eye on. Its a branded title, but for $6000 is very inviting. 90k on the ticker and loaded with most options from what I can tell. Are all A6s awd? I have done some nosing around on here but can not find anywhere a thread that says what to look out for or things to expect with a car of this age and model. I also am looking at a 2001 A4 Quattro... Any help with what kind of maint I can expect etc, or things to look out for would be appreciated.

 

I'm pretty sure some A6s were available as FWD. A Quattro will have the badges on the trunk grille and dash

There are different things to look for mostly based on the engine and transmission. With 90K miles be sure the timing service has been done.
