Just wanted to say hi, figured this was the place to do it. I just purchased a 2002 A4 1.8T, got it certified for the next 2 years, a great peace of mind for me. Unfortunatly, I don't feel like voiding the warrenty just yet, so I'm going to hold off on most of the mods. The car is currently being shipped up from Colorado Springs, and should be here Monday next week. I can hardly wait for it to get here.

I'm a US Coast Guard member, currently stationed in Ketchikan Alaska. I have really enjoyed my time up here, but I have just received orders to Seattle Washington, for the next 4 years. I should be transfering out sometime this summer, I couldn't be more excited. I'm origionally from the Seattle area, and can't wait to go back. Here in Ketchikan, there are not exactly that many roads on which to drive the Audi. That will all change when I move to Seattle. I can't wait to take it for a drive in the Cascades, it's so amazing up there in the Mountains.

Anyways, I love the fourms, lot's of useful information here, I will be throwing in my 2 cents whenever I get the chance.

Peace from Alaska!

Welcome to the forums! Car is looking great. The red on the Audi is growing on me more all the time. I saw an amazing red A6 last week. The color is a real head turner.

Yea, from reading all of the posts, seem's like quite a few people are from the Seattle area. That's great to hear, I would be more than happy to find a good bunch of Audi people to meet with. I'm going to Smither's British Columbia here in 3 weeks with a bunch of friends, we've planned a huge ski trip for 1 week. We decided to take the Audi because of the Quattro AWD. I'm sure I will get to see what makes and Audi and Audi out there.

I got some family in Ketchican, I think my cousins husband is actually in the coast gaurd. I don't know his name though.

Oh well,
Looks good. Get in on the discussions especially let us know how the Audi does in the land of cold weather.

Did ya get the cold weather package (seat heaters?)
Ooo and the block heater? I loved mine in Montana

Yes, this one came with the cold weather package. I told my friends that it had heated rear seats, and they thought that would be nice after a day of hard skiing on the mountain. I'm upgrading from a 1999 Toyota Corolla, to this, and I'm more than impressed. It's a very cold winter here at the moment, but Spring is just around the corner!
