New guy from cincy
Hello im derek from cincy, i currently have a 98 LS1 camaro, but it just isnt practical for driving all year round. I am in the process of a possible trade for a 97 A4 Quattro awd 5 speed, with a rebuilt motor to fit a k04 turbo, with forged pistons and rods, techtonics custom cam, 550cc injectors, WRX STI front mount intercooler, etc. Has 6k on the motor, and I am wondering if this is a good trade or if i should go elsewhere? I keep hearing horror stories about audis and im looking for some input bc i need a car i can drive in snow or summertime.

Wilkommen to the forums.
we have a few Ohioians? Ohioites? Oh hai? cruising around the forums. Check the B5 subsection of the A4 section. be sure to read the stickies/FAQs. Seems like the A4 you are asking about has had a bit of custom work (read as heavily modified). Assuming everything was done by a reputable shop (ask), and all the maintenance has been done...
do you know what kind of horse power the motor is putting out? what other transmission/suspension mods have been done in support? I'm by no means an expert, but you may run into problems if the "supporting" mods haven't been done to go along with the engine mods.
as far as snow/weather? Quattro, there is absolutely no substitute
good luck
