First, I want to say that in the short time I've been looking around at your forum, it looks like it's a fantastic forum to discuss my favorite make of ride, Audis! I own a 99 Audi A4 with the 2.8 V6 and I love the car. It's black with black leather interior and custom Stilauto 17" wheels. I've put a Stebro exhaust system on it, a short throw shift kit and a simple K&N panel filter. The car is incredibly fast for having the stock chip in it and really nothing other than air filter and exhaust modifications.

Now I could use a little help with a simple question. The bottom mouldings on the car are starting to come off. It appears that there may be a metal pinch strip in them that may be rusting. Is there a simple repair for the original mouldings or is the only way of repairing this problem to replace them? Also, please could someone describe just how they are attached to the body panels?
