i just bought a 2001 audi a4 1.8t quattro. i was driving it home from the dealer and when i test drove it i didnt hear what i hear now. when you get on the gas it sounds fine but if u keep ur foot on the gas just a little bit u hear a rattle. i dont know where its coming from. i have a feeling its either throw out bearing, clutch or engine. does neone know?

It's not the tob or clutch because your not using the clutch when it is making the noise. Usually tob's will make a rattling noise when you depress the clutch.
