New Audi Owner - B6 Cabriolet
Hey all,
Just picked up a 2004 A4 3.0 Quattro Cabriolet last week. After registering it and doing the necessary maintenance stuff, took it for its first trip to RI from CT. Handles like a gem. Love the responsiveness and how it sticks to the road. Sport shift is nice on the highway and curvy backroads.
Got a few additions coming this week - new rims/tires from Tire Rack, a new windshield (needed it badly), and some interior switches to fix the old scratched ones.
All in all, this bad boy is fun to drive. And for a 12 year old car, it only has 88k on it, so I can't complain.
I'm gonna be asking a lot of questions in the next couple of months, so get ready!
Thanks
Tom

Here's a link to some pics of the car the day I bought it. It's in pretty good shape (a few minor imperfections here and there). Has 88k on it.
I also ordered new rims & tires from TireRack on Sunday... the previous owner put PlastiKote on the 4 rims to cover the scratches (and poorly, I might add). Plus, the tires are towards the end of their lifespan. I stuck with the stock size - 17x7.5 alloy rims and 235/45/17 Sumitomo HTS A/S W-Speed Rated tires. No TPMS in my car, so I lucked out. They're actually ready at the warehouse today! Once I get them on the car, I'll take some more pictures. I got a set of 5 since the car comes with a full size spare. Can't wait!
