Hello all! I picked up a 1998 A4 1.8T last week, broken timing belt and a handful of bent valves. Everything else is immaculate with 93k miles. I just finished rebuilding the engine and will likely have it on the road tomorrow.

A good friend of mine is an Audi mechanic and he hooked me up with this fix-up special. My first impression, as an amateur 'home' mechanic? Man, this thing is EASY to work on. Especially compared to my old Galant VR4. Everything is just so accessible!
