Hi all. My wife is looking for a new(used) car and fell in love with the Audi A4 2.0T (2006-2007). We've looked at a few and liked them all but after research I've decided I won't let her get a CVT tranny. As I'm not too familiar with Audis, How do I tell which ones have the CVT? This will be her DD and she wants an auto. Do they have a non-CVT auto in that year range? And how do I tell which one it is?

I am a very competent DIY mechanic but I really don't want to deal with the problems I'm reading about these. Also, we're looking at the above models with 15-30k miles for $18-20k... is that about right???

I love the cars I just need some help making sure I don't get a lemon transmission. Thanks for any help.
