I just became the owner of a "hand me down" 2001 A6 and since this is my first Audi I figured this was the place to be.

Right before I acquired it, my brother accidently pulled too far into a parking space and when he pulled out... yes indeed, he tore the bumper off. so now I'm driving around in what is otherwise a splendid and relatively clean car but I have no bumper.

as i'm not too amp'd to spend a fortune for the the dealer to put a stock one back on I was curious if you all had any suggestions.

i appreciate any and all help and look forward to being part of the "auto union" club

 

Same thing happened to my last VW and I talked very nicely to a body shop that reattached the original bumper. Many screws had been pulled out but they were able to attach it anyway. Also, they didn't charge me anything! Not sure how bad off your bumper is but if you can't reattach the original, then shop at some junk yards.
