Need Advice on First Audi Purchase
Hey Everyone.
I'm totally new to Audi, I've had 3 Subaru's and am getting rid of my 2010 legacy for a cheaper car. I wanted to try something new that has lots more convenience features so I found an 06 A4 3.2L 6Cyl premium plus for 13K. It's got 80K miles on it but it doesn't look like it comes with a warranty because its being list as whole sale before the dealer sells it at auction. I think it's been on the lot for a while. The carfax is clean and it had 2 owners. Is there anything I need to be worried about or look for on these cars?
Thanks in advance!

check the stickies in the sub-forums and read through some threads. An '06 Audi with 80K miles still has a lot of life left in it. Coming from Scoobies, you are going to have to be prepared for the "premium" maintenance costs. if you can't DIY at least find a good indy shop in your area that SPECIALIZES IN AUDI. Can't hurt to have them do a pre-purchase inspection either.
good luck

Much better off getting a Pre Purchase Inspection. They are a lot cheaper then finding out how much you have spend after you already own the car.
It gives you bargaining power if problems are found.

Yeah I figured that the 6cyl Audi was similar to the 6cyl Subaru in regards to the reliability of the engine. I like the smoother power of a 6cyl. I haven't driven a 6cyl Audi yet so I'm really excited to see how it handles and awd is a must. It hard to go back to a fwd car. Especially with snow. I live in York, PA. Do any of you know any good Audi mechanics in the area? Thanks for all your advice!
