Looking to buy an Audi wagon
Hey folks,
I've become interested in the Audi Wagons. My dad owned an 02 A6 with the 2.7 bi-turbo and 6 speed transmission, but aside from that I am not to familiar with the engines and models. I'm an amateur mechanic as well, and do all my own repairs.
I'd like to spend under $20,000 and have a wagon with some power. Definitely AWD, and preferable a manual shift.
What are your suggestions?

I have an 2005 allroad turbo AWD. I would consider selling but my price would have to include at least part of the extended warranty cost. It is actually in the shop (Audi dealership) today because the check engine light came on - they say the codes read catalytic converter which costs $2600 to fix but since my car doesn't need a catalytic converter...they aren't fixing it. I don't want to fix something that doesn't need fixed, HOWEVER if I don't fix it my check engine light is doomed to stay on for the life of the car.
