i just recently purchased a 99 A4 1.8 turbo and i love the car i never owned an audi and i dont know too much about them, but the research ive been doing on audis tells me there is a chip u can get for my model is this true or do i have to get a whole new computer installed?

 

Yeah, there are several companies that make chips you can buy. APR, GIAC, MTM, etc. If you wanna get a better idea of what is right for you, I strongly suggest using the search function because this is probably one of the most commonly asked questions. I don't mean to sound dismissive, it's just that we cover this topic (what seems like about) twice a week.
