Not sure what was meant by that exactly, but if you stick to regular oil changes, and maintenance, there should be no issues. I change mine every 5k with Mobil-1 0w40, and the factory filter, along with brake fluid flushes every 2 years. The air filter on my A4 is a pain to get to, so I stuck a K&N in just to delay accessing it again :-)

Their is potential for coking of oil due to the turbo, which adds additional emphasis to the regular oil change interval. This is true of any turbo vehicle though.

I've owned 3 Audi's so far, and feel the quality cant be beat for the price, and have had no major issues with any. I would highly recommend the APR tune for the 2.0, as mine runs 14.6 in the 1/4, and still gets around 30mpg. Enjoy!

Any other questions let me know.

Mark
