I'm the new guy.
Hi Everyone,
My name is Franco and I recently purchased my first Audi. I got a bone stock '98 A4 1.8TQ.....for now. As for me I am nearing completion of engineering school so I will finally have the time, money, and patience to do what I would like to with a car. I have had the car for about six weeks and love it. I have a racing background in formula 2000, shifter karts, and sedans, so the stock performance, all be it decent, just isn't cutting it for me anymore. As you can probally tell most of my questions will be about performance modifications and the like. You guys already have me wanting to take a drill to my airbox. At any rate, I'm glad I found this site since you all seem to have been around the Audi black a time or two, and can give some good advice.

RE: I'm the new guy.
Hello to all,
I have not yet purchased my Audi, but these purchase plans are in their last stages. I am looking at a new '06 or '07 A4Q 2.0T and I hope with the help of this forum, I can gain some ownership insight and suggestions/opinions that will help me with choosing a correctly optioned A4. I have and currently owned all American (GM) car & trucks. In 2000, I did purchased a VW New Beetle 1.8T 5spd, which I loved dearly. It became the victim of "too many toys" syndrome and had to be sold. Once European (German) engineering gets it your blood, it doesn't leave....my reason for being here now.
I work in the retail automotive service field for a large automotive corporation. This corporation owns (2) of the Audi dealers in our area, so purchasing through one of these dealers as a corporate employee will have its' benefits.
Hope to learn and make some friends along the way.
