First Visit and First Post.

Have a 53 Reg Avant that we have had since 3 years old and not had much trouble with it > until yesterday when the remote would not lock / unlock doors.
Changed the remote battery, reprogrammed as I have done many times over the years > inserted into ignition switch / turned on for a few seconds then off and into drivers door lock > lock then unlock etc.
Remote would not lock doors.
Then noticed that the little red alarm LED on drivers door was not flashing.
> checked all fuses behind drivers side trim panel and all have continuity.
