Help me please!!
Hey everyone!
Yea this is my first post and I need some info on A4 models I should be looking for. Im located in Los Angeles. Im looking at an A4 somewhere between 1997 and 2002, whatever I can get for under $15K. I dont know whether or not I should get the 2.8 or the 1.8. I am leaning towards the 2.8 because I dont think I want to mod the engine very much. Also does anyone one any reputible Audi shops in socal that I could take any car I am looking at buying to see what the engine condition is, preferably somewhere near Pasadena? What is the difference between the 2.8 and 1.8 pros and cons whys?
This is the car I am looking at tell me what you think CLICK HERE TO VIEW THE CAR
Thanks
PATRICK

RE: Help me please!!
Thats far too expensive for a 97 - unless there is some serious modding done to it. ALl I see is a neon kit (lol), suspension, and wheels (crappy wheels).
You should be able to find a '99 30v v6 for 14-15K with comparable miles.
Do yourself a favor and buy something stock - at least then you know it wasn't driven hard and when you add something to it (ie suspension) you know exactly what it is and who installed it.
