Help anyone?
Hey Guys,
I am 16 years old, and im looking for my first car I'm excited!!! I looked at rice, and i decided that i wanted to go with euro power. I dont really like the look of the jetta's in my price range so i looked at audi. I was wondering what you guys think is the best model car for a 16 year old who has about 4 grand to spend, before mods. If you guys have any ideas from the performance perspective i would love to hear them. I need a dependable car that will be quick enough to impress me, my friends, and the ladies .
Thanks a ton guys!!!!

RE: Help anyone?
Hey welcome to the forums. You might be able to buy a high mileage 96 or 97 A4 for that kind of money or maybe a 90. If you want performance though your only option is the 1.8t engine beginning in the 97 A4.

You're making the right decision going with the Euro cars, but you will find that they are very expensive to repair. Are you able to (or know someone who can) repair the car? As for performance I agree with Jestnomen, you don't really want an audi that isn't a 1.8t but that car may be above your price range. You may want to look at an older VW GTI or Corrado for that price, they are performance cars and can be easily upgraded. We're happy to have you in the Audi family if you can find your car but I would hate to lead a young guy with not a lot of money in the wrong direction. Study hard in college and get yourself a new RS4. Good luck. And yeah stay away from the rice...
