Hello fellow Audi/VW owners from Madison, Indiana!
Hello all,
I recently purchased an 1996 Audi A4 quattro 2.8 5spd with 97,141 miles for $2400. Im new to the German auto's. I currently still daily drive a nissan 240sx with an sr20de swap in it. I have been dealing with nissan for a few years and i thought i would try something new. I already have some issues with the car. (Not that im worried.) Ill get pictures up as soon as possible to show you all the goods..
some of the issues that I have had so far:
Engine Misfire--- Fixed tonight with a new coil pack
High Idle.--- Just started after i replaced the coil pack, so maybe i messed up a vacuum hose or something.
soil ABS/Brake light.---I havent looked into this yet.
coolant gauge in the cluster.---- doesnt respond, but i have read that it could be the coolent sensor, or a stuck open thermostat, since the car doesnt seemt to be blowing a lot of heat out.
Those are just some of the things I have to work with, but Over all I think im going to love this car after all the bugs are worked out.
**Side note, the Haynes manual for vw/audi a4 doesnt really help me.**
Look forward to meeting a lot of peeps!
