Hi all,
I've been perusing the Audi forums for about two years looking for and planning my next (and hopefully last for a long time) car. I just got a B6 2002 A4 Avant 1.8T "Sport" (5spd). Dark grey exterior, light grey interior with brush aluminum trim.
I'm looking to keep this car in good shape and potentially just engine swap when ready, rather than getting another new car. This is really all I'll need in life with a old 4X4 and motorcycle on the side.
My idea is that this wagon will be my daily driver with some upgrades, but not planning on tracking it anytime soon. I've already been using the forum information for upgrades, repairs and purchasing information and will continue to do so and, in due time, provide my own input to others.
I posted a new introduction with questions in the B6 A4 forum for people to give me feedback. I'm doing upper control arms and exhuast upgrades soon. And, if I can find a stock sport, or preferrably S4, suspension soon that at the same time. I'll also be putting in a Level one ECU Chip, new lower front and rear bumper, and wheels in the next year.
I'm located in San Diego, but will be moving back to the east coast and my home Carolinas later this year.
