Hi there ,

Im new to the Audi scene and would like a little help , Me and my g/f have just bought a Audi A4 2.6 auto 1996 we are picking the car up on Sunday but i noticed a orange light on in the top right hand side of the speedo could anyone please tell me what this light is and is it something to worry about ?

Welcome, hope ya enjoy your new car.....whats the light look like does it have a symbol in the middle??

 

Sorry i should of said ! We bought the car via ebay and only seen pics ! Risky i know but We aint been stung yet ! We have bought a few cars of ebay and had no problems and cars have been described correctly !

Hey welcome to the forums. Please post specific questions in the A4 forum. This is just an introduction forum.

 

Looks like a check engine light, or maybe the "Speed Warning" light, but you wouldn't get that standing still. It's a secondary warning, not a primary warning. It would be a whole lot worse if it was a red indicator. Take comfort in that atleast. [&:]
