Hi, just found this forum. I got an 07 Q7 3.6 for my wife, been riding the 04 BMW 5-series myself for the last 5-6 years. Love the comfort of the Audi, it's a great family car, very spacey, great looking, almost no maintenance, way less problems than with the BMW, albeit I have almost 130k on the beemer and only 40k on the Audi...

Anyway, I hope I can find some uself info on this site how to maintain the Audi. Won't be doing any performance mods to the Q7 cuz it's like our family van, and plus it's a 3.6, not a 4.2...won't get much power out of it, but then again, I wasn't looking for power when I bought it.

My mentality is to buy a car and stick with it to the end, rather than trading it in as soon as the newer model comes out. My putting 110k on the beemer and maintaining it myself speaks for this.
