hi, great to know that you still sticking to audi, i know some of my friends here went to get BMW or MErc because of the sheer groups that are doing it....
well for me i am waiting for the delivery of my Audi A4 B8 next week. But i was disappointed by the dealership where i am, the reason is it took ages for them to deliver the car. Not happy with my first car purchase.
In a way it can be said that all my butterflies in me has died down long ago lol .....

woot ! my family own a honda civic , i think its the 98 version ,cant remember. still going strong with 200k miles on it ! I think it is save to say that it is worrying as owner of audi when your dealer technician can't provide you with the diagnostic to the problem you encountered. As for me, my friends here whom owned Audi same yr as JETSPEED333 and lawsuit_boy, all had no prob and loving their Audi.
A few days ago i even bumped into someone who owned a S2 i think, in top condition. i will try to take a photo to post up here if possible. I always call him the "Audiman" as he was the first person to introduce me to Audi.

well, after 8 months of my first A4 .... it had a problem. It wouldn't move suddenly. Had an error indicating that there is a Transimission malfunction ! and then i cant move the car no matter what gear i input. delivered to the dealerworkshop, waited for 1 week to order a part that is suppose to control the gears as i was told. But after replacement it didnt solve the problem still..
A few days ago, i was told that HQ in germany couldn't diagnose what the problem was and advice to replace a new gear box ......
Man that will take another 1 month or less.... how can the car break down..... and i was told the heat was the factor... when the mechanic took out the transmission oil it was black burn but no metal fillings indicating no gear damage ....
man , disappointed with how the car had this prob... . I was told i was unlucky that this occurred as my car part might be faulty to start off!
hoping this is not a casual fault !!
