Just picked it up tonight. From what i have read on here its a 99.5 Audi A4 1.8T quattro five speed manual. Correct me if im wrong on the 99.5 thing. see links for the pics. Its not black, its that really dark grey metallic. Paid 9500 for it and it has 84k miles on it.Think i paid too much ?No damage on it other than some rock chips on the hood and the driver seat has a small crease/wearing from gettin in and out. thats it. Took it to an audi dealer for a pre purchase inspection and it all checked out good, only thing recommended from audi is to change oil and use fully synthetic and the new filter they have for it. (what you reccommend as far as brands/weights?) over all its agreat lookincar, love how it drives and feels, not to speedy when used to a 5.0 mustang but all more luxurious to me lol. let me know what ya think. most likely will wait for mods till i get the extra cash, but its in the future. Good to finally post as an audi owner.

Sounds like a nice car, and a fair price as well, given the miles and condition. You'll love the car (this is coming from someone who just got out of a nearly-500hp 300ZX twin turbo at the beginning of November) - mine's a quattro 2.8 V6 stick, and I love it. As for your comment about the relative lack of speed compared to the 'stang, well, you can handle that easily enough - grab a chip, exhaust, diverter valve, and intake, and you'll be smoking your buddies in their Mustangs, and will look far better doing it Seriously, the car is great. I weighed it against a 540i and because the particular car I bought was one I had already driven and checked out, and due to some circumstances, became available dirt cheap, I went with the Audi. I don't regret the decision a bit. There may be time for the 540i later on, but for the here and now, the A4 is great. Take care of it, spend some time with the search function and browsing the general tech and DIY areas, and you'll get a lot of your questions handled there. You'll also be armed with the basics and be able to ask intelligently about things you need or want clarified. Welcome, and enjoy

Thank ya thank ya all. I just got back drivin from Indianapolis for the superbowl etc. Damn was it a smooth as ride, nice and quiet as well. Not much road noise which is alot better than my mustang as it was a vert too lol. The speed thing im good with, i still have the mustang so if i wanna go roast some tires i will in it. I do plan to mod this eventrually though, i read alot before i even bout the car and got some good info of what i should of looked for and what i should do when getting an audi. Very helpful indeed so far, so when i get to the moddin part im going to ask questions before i do anything to be safe. Thanks again for the welcoming.
