From a Deville to an A6
Hello everyone,
Just bought an 01 A6... pearl white. I hope I am going to love it as much as I loved my Caddy.... this is my first German, I have only owned American cars.... I have to admitt that as much as i like my new A6, I do miss the soft feel of a caddy. Anyways... I plan to do any repairs myself, just want to know what tools I will need to purchase. I have the usual tools needed to fix an american car, but I also know that these German cars use special bolts, and nuts etc....
I also bring to you all quite a bit of mechanical experience, so i hope we can all help each other on this Forum.... I know at Cadillac forums.com they were a great source of info, and i am proud to say I helped quite a few people diagnose their issues.... whether its american, japanese or german, all cars are theoretically built the same.,.... right?
so, long story short,
what tools do I need?
how hard is it to get to mostcomponents?
Thanks in advance!!!!
