18T that is pretty much what I was thinking too. I'll pm u about the flying. I think it is just going to be like what you said with water and rocks. I just need to play my game on slow-motion so I don't hurt feelings and make people feel stupid.

RE: Convince the parents on an A4
Bro,
You sound like a very intelligent young man. I feel your pain. When I was 18 I had dreams of getting a Nissan Sentra Spec V and had the money to do so but was too young to have anything in my name and couldn't convince my parents to put it in their name. Now 4 years later, Ordered a brand new A3. Just waiting for it to come from Germany. It was 4 years of hell driving a crappy Saturn SL2 but I managed to save a lot of money. Was originally gonna get an A4 2001 1.8T but ended up with a new A3. Free oil changes, if something breaks it goes back to the dealer and they'll give me either an A4 or another A3 to drive my choice.
The best feeling is doing it on your own without the parents. No one to take the car away and when they see Audi quality there gonna be kicking them self for not picking one up.
You sound very determined and don't give up. If your parents say no that should just give you the motivation to do it on your own, it just depends on how badly you want it.

bailz, that is a really good idea. It makes sense too since I would probably not have a car for the first year in college thus my sisters would be driving my audi... I guess I'll just save up as much as possible now and buy an amazing one after/during college if this doesn't go right. I am going to contiune this fight, because I know that I am right. I am going for the slow process that has worked for me in the past.
talk to you all tomorrow,

Let me tell you there is nothing like doing a simulated engine failure in a spiral 145knot dive to try and put the fire out!!!
Nothing like it!

yah I'd have to say flying is amazing. I talked to my teacher again today and she still "doesn't have room for me in the schedule" to start flying.
A friend from school told me about a 99 at a grosinger dealer that his dad works at for $10,000 with 55,000 miles...
we'll see what happens next. i like the idea of not sleeping eating or drinking until they give in.
