Considering buying 3.2 L 2005 TT
Hello all, I'm new to the forum and was wondering if I could get some advice.
I'm currently driving a 2004 Nissan 350Z. I bought the car by doing research, but obviously the research wasn't good enough. After 7,000 miles of normal highway driving, I discovered that the front end suspension is vitally flawed and caused abnormal tire feathering. The problem is bad enough that I have to switch the tires every 8K miles or so if I don't want to hear the incessive road noise.
That's why I'm here in this forum today! I fell in love with the TT after I found out that they're selling a V6 version of the car. It has enough horses to satisfy my craving for speed. The deal breaker for me was the AWD Quattro aspect of the car. Since I live in Colorado, I need a car that can handle in the winter. My Z is absolutely horrible in the snow.
So my question to you all was if there are any known flaws with the TT right now? I've heard that the TT suffers from electrical problems. Is there anything else I should be aware of? Thanks in advance!

RE: Considering buying 3.2 L 2005 TT
I have had a 2003 225 Quattro for about 1 & 1/2 yrs. No problems so far other than a battery that went dead for some reason but replaced under warrenty. (I'll sometimes go a week or 2 without driving it, might not be good for the battery?) No other electrical problems.
I'd reconsider the 225 4 rather than the 250 V6. It might be enough power for you and if you find it's not enough a simple chip reprogranning could get it up to about 265-270 HP on 93 octane. Chipping the V6 won't (from what I hear) or can't give you more than about 10 HP because there is no turbo.
