Had a B5 Passat 1.8T 5-spd but needed more room, more engine, and more traction so here we are! The seats are in amazing shape for 125k miles... after finding the quality control slip from Lear Corp in the rear console I understood why they are so nice. It took forever to find the A6 I wanted in the south but this one showed up in Dallas with everything I wanted, including massive black fenders

The headlights looked great for a week after I polished them but now they look foggy again. I'm having a tough time finding replacements that don't break the bank. It seems none of the aftermarket ones are designed for the facelifted 4.2 body. If anybody knows of a solution, I'd love to hear it!

I put Magnaflow resonated tips on in place of the mufflers and sound now comes out of the exhaust pipes. Nice, respectable sound. Video here:
