Finally, a cool place to post. My last car was a 2001 Acura 3.2 CL. Before that was a 1999 Silver A4 2.8 5-Speed. Now, I own a 2001 Silver A6 4.2 with triptronic and the rare sport package that gives it a meaner stance and beefier suspension. It is fully loaded, and I mean everything. I was smiles from ear to ear when I picked her up yesterday with only 35k original miles. Not a scratch inside or out. The Acura was a good car (ultra reliable--really!!) and somewhat fun to drive but it did not have the handling characteristics and feel of German Engineering. I was kinda sad to see it go because we had some good times but after driving the A6 for a day, I'm like, what Acura? Happy to be back in the hot seat to say the least. It has dark blue interior with the dark wood trim. Just like my A4. So now I am looking into chipping it and throwing an exhaust system on it. One drawback of the car is that they have these hybrid halogens. Not really HID but not really halogens. hmmmm...Anybody know of a decent kit to upgrade to HID that is quality? I will post pics soon and look forward to meeting some fellow enthusiasts.
