After dabbling in VWs, MINIs. and BMWs, I returned to the Audi fold today, buying my third Avant. First was a used88 5000S FWD, which knocked me out with its handling, comfort, size, and looks. It was my first automatic, which, of course packed it in after 3 years while I was moving, about two blocks from the house. Refusing to give up, I got a 1989 2000 TQA, redwith tan leather. Amazing car, but the mileage and repair bills got me down after a couple of years. Finally, I'm back with a silver 2001 A4 avant, 5 speed. Looking forward to many years of happy motoring and toting lots of gear.
